As we said the other day, you only have until the end of this month to benefit from our discounted early-bird delegate rates, so please do not miss this opportunity to register for the Green Liberal Democrat 30th Birthday Conference on Saturday 19th May 2018. The conference will be held in the modern surroundings of the Business School Building in the Jubilee Campus of Nottingham University.

Jubilee Campus boasts some of the most environmentally sound University buildings in the country and we hope to be able to arrange a tour of some of their eco-highlights at some point during the day for delegates fascinated by the mechanics of environmental sustainability. As previously indicated it is a not-to-be-missed programme with a quarter of our MPs speaking at various points during the day; with input from other MPs and former MPs as well as former MEPs and with some sessions chaired by our Climate Change spokesperson in the House of Lords, Baroness Lynne Featherstone. Also the format will not only allow, but positively encourage, input from YOURSELVES, our delegates on the day.

Topics for discussion range from Climate Change and Transport, through sustainable Agriculture and Land-use, to environmentally sound and affordable Housing, and then onto Plastic Pollution of our Oceans. Not to mention Air-Pollution, Fracking, Sustainable Food Policy, Media collusion, Candidate training in Environmental Action and the establishment of a NEW Young Liberal Democrat Green group.
