Green Liberal Democrats Photography Competition 2021
We would like to invite you to participate in the Green Liberal Democrats Photography Competition 2021. It is FREE to enter.
Following on from last year's Photo Challenges we have decided to run a Photography Competition this year and we are asking you to enter your photos under 1 or more of the 4 themes. As an incentive we are offering a small prize of £50 for the winner of each theme plus a prize for the overall winner of £50. In addition we are offering a prize of £50 for the best photo from a person under 21 years of age.
If you need an extra incentive to enter we can tell you that the best 12 photos will be used in a Green Liberal Democrats Calendar which will be available for sale at the Green Liberal Democrat Conference
The four themes that we are inviting you to submit photographs against are
• My green neighbourhood (Local green issues)
• My special green space (Neighbourhood wellbeing escaping lockdown)
• The UK countryside (Landscape)
• Patterns shapes or reflections in nature (get creative)
The entries will be judged by a panel of Judges who are professional photographers.
The old saying is that a photograph is worth a thousand word. This competition is your opportunity to use your photographs to tell us and the judges one or more stories about green and environmental issues that matter to you. We look forward to receiving your photographs
So do send your entries in to kevin.daws@greenlibdems.org.uk
Now for the small print: by submitting any photographs for this competition you are agreeing that the Green Liberal Democrats can use your photographs for the purposes of promoting the work and aims of the Green Liberal Democrats including but not limited to the Green Liberal Democrats using those photos on their website; in their publications; leaflets; literature; e-newsletters as well as on all forms of social media. The copyright for the photographs will remain with the author, that is, the person who took and submitted the photograph. By submitting any photographs you are confirming that these are your photographs and that you have the right to submit them.
