You are invited to enter the Photography 2020 Competition. As part of the GLD Green Festival (20th June -5th July) we have decided to run a photography competition for a bit of fun and to allow you to use your photographic and creative skills to share your story and feelings about the environment and green issues.

We are running 3 themed competitions . themes 2 and 3 are open for entries !

The details are as follows:

Photography 2020 - #Covid19 and Lockdown (Roldan Lumbay)

Theme 1 - #Covid19 and Lockdown -

For this competition all of your photos must have been taken after the Lockdown was introduced on 23rd March. Apart from that it is up to you what the photo is about. How has #Covid19 impacted on your life? What changes have you noticed such as less air pollution, less traffic and more people walking, cycling and using other firms of transport and active travel.
The closing date for this theme was Midnight on Thursday 18th June.

Theme 2 - 30 Days Wild

To support the British Wildlife Trust's 30 Days Wild during June we are asking you to do one wild thing a day throughout the whole month: for your health, wellbeing and for the planet. That's 30 simple, fun and exciting Random Acts of Wildness. Your challenge is to produce photographs on this theme. Theme 3 - what would you like to change in your area?

Take a photo of an environmental issue that you would like to do something about. You may already be campaigning on it or planning a campaign but share your photos with us.
The closing date for this Theme 3 is Midnight on Thursday 2nd July

The rules for these 3 competitions are fairly straight forward but remember for the #Covid19 and Lockdown theme all photos must have been taken since 23rd March 2020

• For all themes any kind of photography is welcome, colour, monochrome, mixed, phone photography, tablet and so on, unless otherwise specified by the subject it's self.

• All images for themes 2 and 3 can be old photographs but we would appreciate photos taken since 23rd March where possible

• Please email your entries (3 images is the maximum for each theme) to kevin.daws@greenlibdems.org.uk with the theme name as the subject of the email.

• All files need to be named as follows: title of the image, your full name i.e. "My vase of flowers" - Joe Bloggs When the image is posted on the website it will show your name

• Keep the title short or we may have to change it.

NB. By submitting your photos for any or all of these 3 competitions you are giving us permission to publish the photos on the the Green Liberal Democrats website, in our publications and on social media as well as on other organisations websites and in their literature. The copyright of the photos will remain with you
