GLD AGM 2019
Sat 14TH MARCH 2020 19.45-21.00
at Room5 York Novotel
at York Libdem conference

The AGM agenda will include Past minutes approval, Reports with Q&A, elections of officers and constitutional amendments

THIS AGM WAS POSTPONED from Autumn conference at the EGM as a result of missed election deadlines, and then again from November as a result of the General Election.

Daisy Cooper, newly elected MP for St Albans, has agreed to speak to us at the AGM, and the usual agenda of reports, elections and constitutional changes will apply. In addition we hope to have time for members to help us form our strategy going forwards.

Nomination forms have been emailed to all paid up members with emails, and posted to those without, and the link emailed again in the January 2020 news bulletin. Versions with the old deadline will be accepted, but there is a new version (with revised deadlines) of the nomination form here.

Please note that all existing nominations will stand unless withdrawn, and nominations are re-opened for new applicants to fit in with the new timetable. Candidates may update their election statements by submitting new copy to the returning officer. Eligibility criteria for election apply from January 15th 2020, so you need to be a member of BOTH the Green Liberal Democrats and Liberal Democrats from that date until the date of the elections/AGM to qualify as a valid candidate.

More information will be posted here as it comes available.
