OUR TOPIC

Tonight's session is a chaired panel-based discussion with an audience, examining the experiences of women in parliament, both as elected officials and as candidates beforehand.

Has the move to internet-based democracy as a result of Covid19 been of benefit to existing female politicians and those seeking office? Whilst it may have changed the envionment they are in generally, what has it meant fo the processes they are involved in. What are the environmental issues that brought them into politics?

Daisy Cooper MP

Daisy Cooper is the Liberal Democrat MP for St Albans, and has been an MP continuously since 12 December 2019. She currently undertakes the roles of Liberal Democrat Spokesperson (Justice), and Liberal Democrat Spokesperson (Digital, Culture, Media and Sport).

Munira Wilson MP

Munira Wilson is the Liberal Democrat MP for Twickenham, and has been an MP continuously since 12 December 2019. She currently undertakes the role of Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Health and Social Care.
