Swales to outline steps for low carbon future on Teesside

Local Liberal Democrat MP, Ian Swales is to speak at a public meeting, hosted by the Middlesbrough Friends of the Earth group, on the Energy Debate and what it means for Teesside. The debate will take place at Normanby Methodist Church on Friday 27th May from 19.30 - 21.00.

He will be joined by a senior climate change campaigner from Friends of the Earth and a representative from Middlesbrough Environment City. There will also be time for Questions and Answers.

Ian will be discussing the Government's commitment to the green agenda and in particular how this will impact on the local area.

Ian commented ''I am looking forward to having an open debate about an important issue for this area, and listening to the views of the audience''.

Anyone interested in attending can just turn up on the night, no tickets are required.
