MP URGES LOCAL RESIDENTS TO SIGN UP TO 10:10 CAMPAIGN

September 9, 2009 11:38 AM

Local MP Susan Kramer is urging local residents to sign up to the 10:10 campaign to help tackle climate change.

By signing up to the campaign, the MP has committed to reducing her personal carbon emissions by 10% by 2010.

Susan Kramer MP commented:

"I am going to reduce my car use and make more use of public transport, as well as swapping all my lightbulbs for low energy ones."

"I will also be turning my central heating down a couple of degrees in the winter - and wearing more layers instead!"

"The great thing about this campaign is that it is so simple - and there are lots of hints about how you can do your bit on the website. Please do sign up online and join the campaign to help tackle climate change."
