Mia is Secretary for the University of Liverpool's Liberal Youth Society where she is doing a part-time MA in Eighteenth Century History. She joined the Green Liberal Democrats at Spring Conference 2009. Mia is involved with various local, national and international campaigning with Liberal Youth, the Liberal Democrats and NGO's. The future of food and water security are of particular concern to Mia and she is looking into the effects of British industrialisation on food production, trade and consumption in the eighteenth century.
