Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Tavish Scott joined Katy Gordon, the
party's top candidate on the Glasgow regional list, at a training centre today in Glasgow.
They visited the North Glasgow Regeneration Agency to see solar panels on the roof of the training centre.
Liberal Democrats want housing associations to be innovative in design and install small renewable energy generators, like the solar panels at the training centre, in new build homes across Scotland.
Commenting Mr Scott said:
"We recognise the impact of rising energy bills on homes across Scotland.
"Our proposals to help housing associations with new forms of cheap green energy can help bring costs down.
"Today I saw a great example of that in action at Cube Housing Association in Glasgow."
